He is an original member of the Imagination Workshop Band, a performance group that grew out of the Children's Museum of the Arts in Manhattan.

They have traveled to New Orleans, Jordan, Ethiopia and Afghanistan to bring circus, puppetry, music and storytelling to those who need it most.
